What we collect

What you give us. When you fill in the contact form: name, company, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in and your message. Everything is what you choose to write.

What is collected automatically. Your IP address, the browser and device you use, the pages you visit, how long you stay and where you came from. This is what any website records.

We do not ask for or store sensitive data: no ID numbers, no health information, no banking details.

What we use it for

Getting back to you. If you write to us, we use your email and phone to reply.
Understanding how the site works. Which pages get read, where people come from, what is broken.
Measuring our advertising. Knowing whether someone who contacted us arrived through an ad, so we do not spend on what does not work.

We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not use it to send you email you did not ask for.

Who we share it with

Only the tools we need in order to work:

Google Analytics. Aggregated site usage statistics.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To measure our ads. If you filled in the form, we send Meta your email and phone hashed with SHA-256, a one-way process: Meta can compare that code against its own, but cannot read your email or phone from it.
Telegram. Only to alert our team that a new enquiry has arrived.

Your enquiry is stored on our own server, located in Europe, accessible only to our team.

Cookies and browser storage

We use measurement and advertising cookies, and we store some data in your own browser. You can decline them from the notice that appears when you arrive, or delete them at any time from your browser settings.

The three starting with mag_ live only in your browser. We do not read them remotely and we do not store them on any server: they are only sent when you take an action, such as submitting the form.

How long we keep it

Form enquiries are kept for as long as the business relationship lasts and up to five years afterwards, in case something needs reviewing. Site statistics are kept in aggregated form. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it.

Your rights

Uruguay's Personal Data Protection Act 18.331 gives you the right to know what data of yours we hold, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, and to withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@mediumagencia.com. We reply within five working days.

If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you can complain to Uruguay's Personal Data Regulatory and Control Unit (URCDP).

Changes

If we change anything in this policy, we update the date above. Significant changes are announced on the site.
